There was an armed robbery at Windows Cafe yesterday around noon. Noone was injured.

My roommate and I just moved to the neighborhood last week. We were in the cafe when it was being robbed - and of course, we were robbed as well. Honestly, it almost sent me screaming back to suburban Maryland. But we decided to stick it out and not let this stupidity chase us away. Now if the cafe would, perhaps, increase their security (like actually operate their security cameras) then maybe would-be thieves wouldn't be so emboldened to rob the place over and over. I don't think I can ever go back inside.
I am sorry to hear that patrons of the cafe were robbed as well. Maybe if law-abiding citizens were permitted to own and carry firearms, the criminals would not be so bold.

The owners can take some solace... once the Big Bear cafe opens, they will only be robbed half as often.
