Join the artist, Garin Baker, and his team for the kick off of the LeDroit Park Neighborhood Mural entitled “This is How We Live”


When: The outline of the mural will be projected from dusk until 10pm
Thursday October 16th, Friday October 17th and Saturday October 18th

Children’s activities will be provided on Saturday October 18th during the day as part of the Howard Homecoming Parade.

Where: 239 Elm Street NW

















The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities in collaboration with residents from the LeDroit Park community selected muralist Garin Baker to design, create and install a mural that will be centrally located in the LeDroit Park neighborhood. Mr. Baker’s mural concept ties in the historical context of the neighborhood while enforcing a positive message.
