Commissioner Davenport,
This sounds like a great idea. I look forward to seeing you and everyone else there this Monday.
The idea is Ms. Jackson's! Although the event is being held at BBC and we are indebted to Commissioner Davenport and BBC for their hospitality, it is the work of Ms. Tania Jackson and the outreach she has been doing on the McMillan project that needs to be commended. Furthermore, this is the second of two salon sessions held with the designers for residents to have direct input. I would like to thank Ms. Jackson for her continued efforts on these McMillan outreach functions. She has faced many trials on this project and had gone above and beyond to ensure that everyone gets their idea, opinions and desires heard! It been a hard road with many obstacles, and she has managed to navigate it well and with insight and respectfulness. Thanks Tania for all you do!
So nice to see Commissioner Davenport and future Commissioner Fournier already working in concert to improve our community!
Have looked at Byrd's website... first rate. He's clearly got the cred and the experience for this type of project....check out the site!
The design team (including but no limited to Byrd) is really top-notch, as far as I can tell. I'm going to try to make it to the salon tonight.
Thanks Nolan-
See you there. I updated the storm runoff study, historic preservation study, and others at the BBC website here:

I know you have copies, and I am waiting on the traffic control copy now from Tania (my version was type encrypted).
I have heard good things about Warren Byrd as well. He did the landscape at the St. John's College waterfront in Annapolis, MD. It was something of a tribute to indigenous plants - restoring the natural landscape, but making it accessible and easier to maintain.
I uploaded the files (not "updated"):
