a Bloomingdale resident is eagerly soliciting roofer referrals

See this plea from a Bloomingdale resident:

We need a new roof.  Hurricane Sandy made that very clear.  Can you post a referral request?

We just got a new roof put on by Cole Roofing... Was by far the cheapest but also A reviews on Angies List and it's holding up great during Sandy!

I would recommend PJ's Roofing. He did a great job on my flat roof and turret. He's very knowledgeable about different technical solutions and can work with slate or if you are interested in saving some money you can use a recycled product that is lighter and looks like slate from the street. He also installed 3"of insulation on the flat portion of my roof which made a huge difference with air conditioning this summer. Pretty cool solution actually--can get you 3 or more inches of closed cell insulation over your entire roof--in addition to what's in your attic. Anyway I would highly recommend him. PJ can be reached at 240-446-5164 (M) 301-271-7773 (W) or pjsroofing @ hotmail.

Call Edwin Portillo. He put the roof on our place. He's a very nice guy, and works with his family members. They do good work, and stand by it. 202-409-4814. Tell him Lou from the Carriage House in the alley recommended him.
