#1 priority for the McMillan community benefits agreement? Traffic and transportation

A small group of Bloomingdale residents and a LeDroit Park resident gathered yesterday in the basement of St. George's Episcopal Church, 2nd and U Street NW.

The purpose of the special Bloomingdale Civic Association meeting? To discuss the McMillan Sand Filtration site project community benefits agreement (CBA) package -- and to prioritize what the community wants to see in the agreement with the development team's Planned Unit Development (PUD) application.

See the tear sheets below.  The more red dots indicates a greater interest for a higher priority in the CBA.  The final tear sheet at the bottom provides a summary.

Healthcare received zero red dots.

Below is the summary of the priorities:

Traffic and transportation achieved the highest priority votes.

Adaptive re-use of the underground cells, historic preservation and beautification got equal votes for second place.

And the South Service Court got ranked third in the priority list.
