- El Camino: The new Mexican restaurant I wrote about previously from the owners of 1905 Restaurant in Shaw has a name: El Camino. A rep for the restaurant brings word that El Camino is aiming to open this summer in Bloomingdale at 108 Rhode Island Ave. NW. El Camino will be a full-service restaurant featuring traditional Mexican food and a "variety of Latin cocktails."

All I can say is pleeeaase not another overpriced mexican place. How about somewhere my family and I--and the rest of the not-extremely-well-heeled community--can enjoy a fun and casual and tasty meal on a regular basis? Everyone loves mexican food; this could be a great way to draw the community together!
Would love to see a little taqueria similar to Super Tacos & Bakery in Columbia Heights/Adams Morgan.
I would love to see a "New" in front of that mexican.... New Mexican food isn't as prevalent here in DC as mexican.
