Bloomingdale Civic Association & Urban Forestry Administration coordinating planting missing or dead trees

See this Friday, 06-13-2014, message from Bloomingdale resident Zach Sherif:

The Bloomingdale Civic Association in cooperation with DDOT'S Urban Forestry Administration is coordinating the planting of all the missing trees in Bloomingdale, so If you have a dead tree in your tree box, one with broken or dead limbs - or just one that's missing altogether - then please contact Zach to get on the master list at beautifybloomingdale@gmail.com.  Kindly provide your exact location and the current status of the tree or box.

The work will be implemented starting this September.  Also additionally please call 311 to report the same info to them to ensure you get on Urban Forestry's next rotation.  Don't wait as seasonal quantities are limited and this is the time to coordinate for the Fall.

And now that we're in the throes of summer please don't forget to water your tree box - and lend a helping hand to an elder neighbor as well!!!

Thanks much,
Zach - Bloomingdale Civic Association Beautification Chair
