Assault with the Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Abuse:

500 block of Florida Avenue, NW

   

(Washington, DC) - Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection to the Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Sex Abuse offense which occurred in the 500 block of Florida Avenue, Northwest, on Monday, September 8, 2014, at approximately 6:10 pm.

           

On Monday, September 8, 2014, at approximately 6:10 pm, an adult female was in the area of the 500 block of Florida Avenue, Northwest, when she was approached and sexually assaulted by an unknown male.      

       

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’6” in height, dark complexion, medium build, last seen wearing white underwear and dark pants.  

            

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099.  Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.  DC Crime Solvers currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for an assault committed in the District of Columbia.
