Thank you to all our incredible Bloomingdale neighbors who have left diapers, baby supplies and feminine products on our front porch in 2017. They have all been safely delivered to the DC Diaper Bank and are making a huge difference for DC families in need. Please keep the donations coming! One item of particular use this time of year is sunscreen (unopened).
An excellent time to drop off items would be on your way to this
weekend's Bloomingdale Community Day. We live right on the southwest
corner of park (gray fence, right next door to the new house being built) and
this Saturday you are welcome to leave items at our back fence/gate (or front
porch Saturday and other days). Our street address is 2009 First Street NW.
Also, please check out the following DC Diaper Bank activities and
come out to support if you can!
If you're interested in learning more about the DC Diaper Bank,
its website is http://www.dcdiaperbank.org/
or I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Just shoot me an
email (my name, no spaces at gmail).
Many thanks!
