Growing Food. Cultivating Community.

Hello from Common Good City Farm!

We hope that you enjoyed your recent visit to the farm for our Spring Potluck (recipes coming soon!). We wanted to take a moment to tell you about Common Good City Farm and how you can get involved in 2017.  If you haven't already done so, we recommend that you sign up for our monthly e-newsletter so you can stay up to date with all the fun things we are doing! We hope to see you on the farm again soon for one of the upcoming events listed below.

Join April RameƩ of Antler Alchemy for a workshop series to learn how to use herbs medicinally. The next workshop in the series - Creating an Herbal Journal and Sacred Plant Diets - is on Sunday, June 4 from 3-5pm. Register here!

Save the date! Common Good is partnering with the United Way NCA and hundreds of other DC-area nonprofits on Thursday, June 8 for Do More 24, a 24 hour giving day. Help us reach our goal of $1,500 to build our new storage structure by donating here on June or making an advanced donation now!

About Us

Common Good City Farm (CGCF) is a non-profit organization with a mission to create a vibrant, informed, and well-nourished community through urban farming. Founded by community members in 2007, CGCF is a place where community members can source fresh food, see sustainable urban agriculture in action, and gain exposure to concepts and skills to lead healthy lives. We actively engage with all members of our diverse community and create opportunity for connections on our farm, while emphasizing intensive vegetable production and modeling best practices in sustainable urban agriculture.
