Friendly Neighbors,
Thank you all for the contributions and the effort to bring in donations.
On Saturday, September 21st we broke the $ 1,500 bar!
The collected cash, the checks and the Paypal monies will now go into my account.
On Tuesday, I`ll send out checks for the performers' deposits.
The deals will be locked.
Recap:
Festivities are scheduled for Thursday, October 31st from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The theme is a ``New Orleans Masquerade.``
We'll get started with 2 stilt walkers and 2 face painters.
At the same time (new item), to warm up the crowds, we`ll get a free hour-long musical contribution from our own and proper hip-hop talent Solstik.
Black Masala, the band everybody liked so much, will perform from 7:00-9:00 pm along with the silks dancer and the 2 hand balancers. And of course, the return of The Great Mitchini.
I am continuing to appeal to your generosity.
The total target dollar amount to be reached by September 30th is 2,500 USD. We are 1,000 USD short as of September 22nd.
The suggested donation per household is 30 USD but you are welcome to give more.
