Available in Washington DC, the service is simple and affordable. Sign up and Remotion Compost provides you with a clean, stink-proof bucket. Toss your food scraps and organic waste (including meats, shells, dairy, and soiled paper – pretty much anything you don’t already recycle) in over the course of the week. Then on a weekly (or bi-weekly) basis, Remotion Compost collects your food scraps for composting and leaves you with a clean bucket. In the spring and fall they bring compost back to you for your home garden. If you don’t want the compost back they will donate your portion to a community partner!
