The District's most recent tax auction was even less successful than we thought.

We reported last month that during the mid-July event, D.C.'s Office of Tax and Revenue auctioned 408 liens (recouping $4.6 million in overdue taxes) out of the 752 liens put up for sale.

We have the list, below, of all properties sold at auction, in addition to those that were bid back (that list begins on Page 9). It is likely the tax office will take additional measures to collect, as it is currently sitting on hundreds of properties with overdue bills topping $2,000.
