I
wanted to report that our garage was broken into last night (8/12/2013) and 2
bikes were stolen. The bikes were both
blue...one was a Novarra child's bike and another was an adult specialized rock
hopper. We believe the offender came in
through the back of home and entered rear door of garage. We have noticed some strange items in our
back patio area recently...almost seems like someone has been coming in to our
back patio area. Have also noticed
unusual activity in alley such a door to abandoned garage that is sometime open
or closed. It looks like the door was
sealed shut at one point but has been forced open at abandoned house. The police recommended having motion detector
lights pointing towards entry into garage from back of house and even motion
sensor chime for door. We live on S St
NW between First and North Capitol.
