Teri Janine Quinn's comments on the Washington Firehouse ABRA order

... and here are the immediate comments on the just-issued ABRA order for the Washington Firehouse Restaurant from Teri Janine Quinn, President of the Bloomingdale Civic Association:

Neighbors,

Please find the Firehouse order attached. I scanned it quickly but it looks like there were several wins for the residents:

*Mandatory free parking for employees
*Live entertainment restricted to 2nd Floor
*Outdoor hours limited to 11pm Sun-Thurs and 12am Fri-Sat
*No parking on the specified lots
*Acceptance of the other terms to which both parties agreed (pest control, trash, etc.)
*No transmission of music or other sounds generated by live music on the second floor to the first floor of the establishment or outside

The order does not address whether a cover charge is permissible and it appears full hours are approved for the interior. While valet is not required, the Board relied on the provision of valet in granting the application.

I'll need to clarify a couple of things in the order but overall, the residents were pretty successful.

Best,

Teri Janine Quinn
