Upcoming events in Crispus Attucks Park View this email in your browser Welcome to the first of our new emails to keep you updated about Crispus Attucks Park!  The weather may not feel like summer is on its way out, but the calendar says it's time to start thinking about Fall activities! Next week, please join us for our Fall quarterly meeting. We’ll plan a youth workday later in the month, plan an adult workday for October, discuss placing a conservation easement on the park, and update on other projects. Interested neighbors and volunteers are always welcome at our meetings--and, of course, on projects themselves! What: Quarterly Meeting of Crispus Attucks Development Corp. When: Tuesday, September 9, 7pm Where: 2024 North Capitol St. NW Later in September, we will have a Fall Youth Workday! We’re lucky to be joined by youth from neighborhood churches, who are volunteering their time! There will be projects appropriate for youth of elementary school age and up. (Note: we will hold another workday later in the fall more directed to projects [and tools] more appropriate for adults. ) What: Fall Youth Workday When: Saturday, September 20, 11am Where: Crispus Attucks Park Great Lawn In the meanwhile, hope to see you in Crispus Attucks Park!
