Dear Friends  and Neighbors,  
                    
I would like to invite you to a SHOWCASE sponsored by the DC Humanities Council of the Bloomingdale Village Square (BVS) Project and 15 other community heritage projects that have been funded by the DC Humanities Council.  The Showcase is free of charge and includes a catered dinner and an address by John Franklin, Director of Partnerships and International Programs at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. The Showcase will occur on Thursday, December 10, 6 pm - 9 pm at the Richard Wright Charter School for Journalism and Media located at 770 M Street, SE.  The BVS  Project is an effort of the Bloomingdale Civic Association, and I am honored to serve as Project Director of the Project.
