Good news!
Learn more about Bloomingdale Civic Association's Bloomingdale Village Square Initiative (BVS) and its accomplishments!
As a result of the award of a Humanities Vision Partnership Grant funded by the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities (an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Arts) and administered by HumanitiesDC (an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities), BVS was able to update and re-print its two promotional brochures: Bloomingdale Village Square Initiative - An Overview and Bloomingdale Village Square Initiative - Architecture & Design Issues.
Together, these brochures describe BVS' mission: "Seeking a stable, multicultural/multiracial and inclusive neighborhood through use of neighborhood history, architecture & design, and civic engagement.”
