Holy Week & Easter

St. George's Episcopal Church

Washington, DC

Dear St. George's Parish Family,

Welcome to your online Holy Week and Easter worship guide. I hope you will be able to tune in to our YouTube Channel and to our Zoom services to experience the way we are able to bring church to each of you during this time of separation and isolation due to COVID-19.

On Ash Wednesday I asked all of us to spend intentional time this Lent looking deep inside ourselves because that is where God dwells, sees, and knows us. This is the God who created us. The God who pursues us. The God that forgives us. The God that reconciles us through his Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. And it is in this week, especially again for this second year of pandemic, that day by day we walk with Jesus to the cross. And as we do in the darkness and anxiety, let us remember that we stand at the grave as we make our song, "Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia."
