Community COVID-19 Resources
|
|
|
|
Did you know that you had neighborhood resources in
public health? Last month, we hosted a webinar addressing questions
from our community members about the new COVID-19
vaccines. Our featured presenters were Dr. Tamara A. Henry and
Dr. Emily R. Smith, both neighbors from 1st Street NW and professors
at the Milken Institute of Public Health at George Washington
University. They were joined by Zulikhat Segunmaru, a 4th year Doctor
of Pharmacy Candidate and intern at North Capitol Pharmacy (1516
North Capitol Street NW). Watch the webinar recording and get caught up on the discussion.

Your Neighborhood Pharmacy
North Capitol Pharmacy is working to acquire the
vaccines and is making a plan to offer vaccine appointments. They
also have a variety of resources to answer your questions. Drop in
to chat with Dr. John Forson and his team, or visit them online
at www.northcapitolpharmacy.com. (image: North Capitol Pharmacy) (Back To Top)

In lieu of our Annual Meeting & Party, which
would have been in February, we're doing an "I ❤️NorthCap" social media
campaign to share what we love about our neighborhood.
Join us by sharing your favorite view, place to walk your pup,
place for your kids to play, or even share a memory from a
#NorthCap event like Art All Night. Tag us @northcapitoldc on Twitter, Facebook, or
Instagram.
