Traditionally, this Sunday has been a day of celebration, within the austere period of Lent. This Sunday gets its name from the first few words (incipit) of the traditional Latin entrance (Introit) for the Mass of the day. To be eligible for the MLAY scholarship, applicants must: 1) be students in good standing at high schools in the Washington, DC metropolitan area; 2) plan to pursue study at an accredited 2- or 4-year post-secondary institution; and 3) have at least a minimum 2.5 G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale.   This year, we have added a new provision to the program: Students who received an award in 2020 will be invited to apply for multi-year funding. The Committee will send the criteria and eligibility requirements to the awardees in the near future. Or on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Please ring the bell at the side door and The Rev. Jenkins will bring you the elements. You will receive the elements in a container.
