I just got billed for 1,160 days of water service, with an automatic deduction form my bank account of $1,700. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Hi, I have not heard of this extent of a problem before. What I suspect has happened is that when the Thomas Street water-sewer construction occurred several years ago, WASA (at that time) suspended billing for the part of the duration of the project until the lead service lines were replaced. Then a bill covering several months was issued. Your property sounds like it might have fallen through the cracks and now DC Water is catching up.
