2119 Flagler Place NW to be converted into a two-family flat -- including a rear addition and pop-up

Thanks to Washington Business Journal reporter Michael Neibauer who spotted that 2119 Flagler Place NW has a DCRA permit to convert from a single-family dwelling to a two-family flat ...plus a rear build-out and a pop-up on the top!

Not sure if the pop-up includes the removal of the cupola in the front of the house - or if the pop-up will be behind the cupola.

And not sure if the rear addition adds to the percentage of building occupancy on the lot.  It seems like the houses on this side of the block would currently be at 60% lot occupancy.

I hope they keep the "cupola" and don't mess with the front original design too much....
