My husband, Dave, and I are looking for new homes for our two cats. We're sad to have to find new homes for them, but don't think we can give them the love and attention they need given our current circumstances. Their descriptions and photos are below and attached.Molly: Small and elderly, Molly is a very sweet cat who likes to flirt with strangers and be nearby her loved ones. She cuddles up to sleep with her owners, and suns herself around the house during the day. She is 14 years old and has a thyroid problem (for which she is on medication). Generally when she is on her meds, her thyroid is under control, but she is very insistent on mealtimes.
Maggie: A real lap cat, Maggie is very friendly and playful, even as she ages (she's 9). Maggie is vocal, cuddly, and sweet. She struggles with allergies (currently treated with a low steroid dose and anti-depressants), and over grooms herself when they get out of hand. Maggie has a history of peeing outside the litter box (usually in the same spot). We've tried various strategies for managing this, but none of them have been 100% successful. Maggie may be particularly inclined toward being a barn cat--that's how she started out her life.
Owners: We've had Molly and Maggie for almost 10 years, and love them dearly. We are happy to talk more about the cats and adopt them out together or separately (they get along, but aren't best friends).Best,Karen
