Subject: called police about a suspected package thief this afternoon fyi
Hi Scott,
The police said they'd send a car to check out a guy that looked like he was picking up packages around 12:30 today on the 1900 block of 3rd St NW (between the circle and the park). A guy came out of the alley, checked out the houses on both sides, and walked up to a porch with packages in the mailbox to put them in his orange and black duffel back before heading up 3rd toward Elm St. He was African-American, maybe five foot four in a black bomber jacket and black hat. Both USPS and UPS were delivering in the surrounding blocks at the time.
Hoping to get an expected package today.
