Priddy Clean repointed the back walls of our house and did a very good job. They were attentive to dust mitigation, too. Our neighbors have also used them, at our recommendation. Don't be misled by their chimney sweep logo. Masonry work is also a specialty: http://www.priddyclean.com/masonry.html
We used Edgar's Masonry for the front of the house and a much less expensive company, now shuttered, for the rear. Edgar's did a wonderful job on the brick, including completely rebuilding a few sections. I'm not sure they did quiet as good putting flagstone on the porch. http://www.edgarsmasonry.com/
I've used Jose Luna for several pointing and masonry projects, and he's doing the street facade in about two weeks. He's very conscientious and does a great job, on my house and several others in the 100 block of W.
We've used David Ricard (http://www.davidricardmasonry.com/) for repointing the back of our home and redoing our front porch. He's been terrific and reasonable with his pricing!
On the recommendation of our neighbors we've contracted with Jose Luna for pointing up the bricks and replacing our rear driveway. You can see his work at 114 & 125 W St NW. His number is 240.304.1599. Referred by: Michelle Torres-Carmona.
I was one of the first people in the neighborhood to use Jose Luna to repoint my house back in 2003. He was the lead mason for Edgar Masonry back then and later wound up going out on his own. I have recommended him to upwards of 20 friends all of whom have been quite happy. He recently took apart and rebuilt an interior chimney in my basement in less than a day. He has my highest possible recommendation. - Jon Jensen
+1 for Jose Luna. I've used him for several major tuck pointing jobs and many other masonry projects. He is conscientious, efficient and does top notch work. He tuck pointed my 3 story alley-facing wall and built my front brick retaining wall @ 74 W.

We used Renaissance and we're very pleased
I came here to say the same thing - I used http://rendevdc.com/ (Renaissance) and was quite happy with the work and cost.

Whoever you go with, make sure they use the right mortar or your bricks will be destroyed over time.
