The Unified Scene Theater's Latest Round of Classes Start Next Week -- And Bloomingdale Residents Get A Discount! 

The latest round of classes at The Unified Scene Theater is up and available on our website  We're excited for the New Year, and for new opportunities for workshops, classes, and entertainment in the months ahead. And, what's more, we're grateful to be in Bloomingdale, to call it home, and that many of its residents have walked through our doors over the past 2.5 years for entertainment and to learn about improv comedy and the endless ways it can improve our lives. And, to show our gratitude, The Unified Scene Theater is offering Bloomingdale residents a discount on two upcoming classes: Our Introduction To Improv class, which begins next Monday (January 9th) and our Storytelling For Performance class, which begins next Wednesday (January 10th). • Introduction to Improvisational Comedy | Level 1 I Mondays, 7-9 p.m., January 8th — February 26th
• Students will be taught the basics of improv through exercises and games that demonstrate the fundamental principles behind this fun and exciting art form. No experience necessary. Register here! 

• Storytelling for Performance | Elective I Wednesdays, 7-9 p.m., January 10th — February 7th 
• Storytelling has been around since the beginning of time as a way for us to relate to each other and give meaning to our experiences. However, in more recent years, oral storytelling has grown as a performance art, allowing us to perfect the art of telling, and shape our stories into compelling narratives that educate, entertain, inspire and often transform perception.
