MPD: Arrest made for a burglary at Big Bear -- last night, Wednesday, 09-05-2018

Subject: [MPD-5D] Burglary Arrest - 100 block of R Street, NW

Good Evening,

On 9/5/2018, at approximately 11:51 PM, units responded to the Big Bear Cafe at 105 R Street, NW, for the report of a burglary in progress.  Fifth District units were on the scene within moments and were able to secure the perimeter of the premises.  With the assistance of a police canine, members were able to locate and apprehend the burglar within the premises, and placed him under arrest.  Great job 5D!
