Common Good City Farm: Living Wall Hangings workshop with Rock Paper Plant at St. George's Church -- Thurday, 12-06-2018

See this workshop announcement from Common Good City Farm:

Living Wall Hangings: A Mounted Tropical Plants Workshop with Rock Paper Plant

Thursday, December 6, 6:30-7:30 pm

Bring a bit of the jungle into your home! In this workshop, you will learn how to make a beautiful living wall hanging with tropical vining plants. In their natural environment, these plants grow on rocks or trees, not in the pots you see at the garden store. You’ll learn how grow these plants vertically with a little bit of moss and tree bark and leave with your own mounted plant.

No experience or green thumbs needed! All materials, including plants and care instructions, will be provided.

Tickets are $55. Sign up for 2 Rock Paper Plant workshops and save $10 or sign up for all three and save $15.

Rock Paper Plant is the brainchild of Alicia Mazzara and Cielo Contreras, two dope, curly-haired kweens making and growing things in the District of Columbia. Questions? Email

This workshop series is hosted in conjunction with Common Good City Farm at St. George's Church.
