Hope that DDOT and DC Water take action to make sure that drivers don't drive north on 1st St NW when the lane is only southbound at RI Ave NW.

5:30 a.m., three cars drove North on 1st NW around the detour headed straight at me as I was headed South. [Yes, that is way to early for me to be headed to work.] I wonder if it would be safer to just close 1st in both directions.
