WHAT'S HAPPENING ON THE CORRIDOR
|
|
|
|
We
are so excited to announce North Capitol Main Street is participating
in the city-wide Holiday Lights Competition & Scavenger Hunt.
Participating businesses will decorate their storefronts with holiday
lights bringing cheer to the holiday season in their neighborhoods.
Between December 1 and December 14, take a stroll down each of the
participating corridors to experience a dazzling array of lights and
decor. Then, cast your vote for the best decorated corridor!
Neighbors can participate in the scavenger by visiting www.dcholidaylights.org and enter to win
prizes from small businesses all over the city!

BUSINESS
HIGHLIGHT: CREATIVE GROUNDS
|
|
|
|
ART. COMMUNITY. COFFEE.
Our business highlight allows us to tell the story of our business
owners, why they love their neighborhood, and how we can support
them. This month we are featuring business owners Asmara Sium and Kenn
Blagburn of Creative Grounds (1822 North
Capitol Street, NW). Asmara and Kenn are parents of two with a noble
cause to promote cultural arts and activities for the residents of
Bloomingdale.
Check
out our blog to read more about how they became coffee and culture
curators…..

CAPITOL MAIN STREET
WHO WE ARE
North Capitol Main Street, Inc. (NCMS) formed in 2003 as a 501(c)3

Street organization and is funded, in part, by the DC Department of
Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD).

compete within DC’s changing citywide context. 3. Improve the
physical character of the North Capitol Corridor.
WHO WE
SERVE
North Capitol Main Street supports over 100 businesses through technical
