Friday August 9  6-9 @ 410 GooDBuddY

Please join for a poetry and music show to celebrate two new books by Buck Downs.

Buck Downs's new books are *New Personal Problem* and *The Assorted Books of Buck Downs*. Buck writes a weekly Poetry Picks Column for the Pink Line (www.pinklineproject.com) and has just come back from headlining at the 7th Welcome to Boog City Poetry & Theater Festival in Brooklyn.

:Star FK Radium's latest release is Solitude Rotation. Here's what one reviewer had to say about it:

"The interaction of Bill Martien (guitar), Matt Clarke (drums) and Alissa Taylor (violin) shows three aligned musicians who offer their interpretation of Chamber Music, classical violin and acoustic rock guitar accompanied by some astute percussive work. This is music that takes the listener on a musical journey, a gamut of powerful emotional landscapes.

Again we don't see any of those lumbering and pretentious twenty minute epics; this is a trio that knows that it's all about quality not quantity. From the longest track, Honey Jarz to the shortest, Morning Star, every note fits perfectly, differing in presentation but none the less rewarding. I struggle to find anything to musically compare these creations to as a point of reference."

We'll open the doors and start serving refreshments at 6:00; and the show will start at 7:00.

Events and exhibitions at 410 GooDBuddY are made possible through the support of Wiebenson & Dorman Architects PC and Jt Roy
