Subject: Letters Mailed to Bloomingdale and LeDroit Park Residents

Good Afternoon ANC 5E and ANC 1B,
Attached please find copies of a Pre-construction survey letter, Right of Entry, and Neighborhood Mitigation Questionnaire that was mailed to affected Bloomingdale and LeDroit Park residents that reside in the direct zone of influence of the upcoming First Street Tunnel Project.

As discussed in previous community meetings, information describing the pre-construction activities and the need to perform these tasks internally and externally would be provided to the residents prior to the beginning of any construction activities. The Right of Entry document gives our contractor permission to enter into the home, at the owner’s convenience, and to be within their property limits, to gather information of the home’s current interior and exterior conditions for record. Additionally, the questionnaire assists in gaining vital information from residents to aid our mitigation processes. A stamped, self-addressed, return envelope has been provided for the return of the signed Right of Entry Agreement and completed Mitigation Questionnaire.

Please note that participation in this survey is voluntary, however for precautionary reasons, we would recommend residents most affected participate in this process.

Thank you for your continuous support and if you have any questions or concerns, please call DC Clean Rivers Community Outreach at 202-787-4447.
