Councilmember McDuffie Host Town Hall Meeting on Flood Hazard Protection
                   
On March 5, Councilmember McDuffie hosted a community town hall with DC Insurance Federation, Councilmember Jim Graham (D – Ward 1) Councilmember Vincent Orange (D – At-Large), Councilmember, the Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB), and others to provide information on flood and homeowners’ insurance. The forum was designed to educate residents, in advance of the summer season, as to why their homeowners’ policy is not “flood insurance” and what resources are available to them from flooding hazards.

Monday, March 18 – The Bloomingdale Civic Association meeting will take place at St. George’s Episcopal Church, located at 160 U Street, NW, beginning at 7:00 p.m.                   

Tuesday, March 19 – ANC 5E will hold its monthly meeting at the Summit, located at 116 T Street, NE, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
