The tavern opens at 9am, the street festival will be from 11am-5pm. It will include a stage with live music, featuring Irish, bluegrass and jazz ensembles as well as an Irish Step dancing group. There will be kid`s activities such as a rock climbing wall, fun house, face painter and balloon artist. The street will be filled with booths from different community partners such as Howard University Hospital, Artspace, Car 2 Go, DC`s Different Drummers, local politicians, Shaw main streets just to name a few.
