? National Marathon signage along North Capitol Street removed...?

Just passing along a message received from a resident:

I notice a couple days ago that someone had come along North Cap from at least Quincy St to Randolph St and removed all of the route signs that had been put up for this event.  The signs were mostly just sitting on the ground near where they had been hung.  It looked like just a stupid act of vandalism.  That said, I don't know if any of the event organizers are aware....
