Ms. McDaniel,
Please see a workshop program that the Mayor has asked the District Department of the Environment and District of Columbia Office of Planning to participate in with the Center for Clean Air Policy. It would be great if resident listservs could be notified.

We hope that you will join us for this invitation only, half-day workshop on August 2, 2013 that will focus on the National Flood Insurance Program's Community Rating System (CRS) as one of the cost-effective measures that the District can take to reduce the costs of flood insurance and flood damages and increase community resilience to the next flood.
SAVE THE DATE!
Flood Resilience Workshop I: Reducing costs & Increasing flood resiliency through FEMA’s Community Rating System.
Date: August 2, 2013
Location: 750 First Street, NE - 9th floor conference room
