McMillan PUD zoning hearings coming up: invitation to testify or otherwise show support

View this email in your browser If you've been waiting for the right time to make your voice heard and have an impact on the McMillan process - this is it! The DC Zoning Commission will hold hearings on the McMillan Planned Unit Development (PUD) on May 1st, 5th and 8th – and potentially on the 13th should additional time be required. Each night, planning experts and members of the VMP team responsible for each facet of the project will provide testimony in support of the redevelopment. We need your help.   Visit our PUD Hearing signup page today and commit to testify or to simply attend at least one PUD hearing date and to write a letter of support. Public comment is a critical component of these hearings. As committed supporters living in the communities surrounding the McMillan site, your attendance and testimony at one or more of the hearings is one of the most important things you can do to support the project. If you can’t attend one of the hearings – it will also be important to communicate with the Zoning Commission in advance of the hearing.
