Growing Food. Cultivating Community.

What does urban farming mean?

To Common Good City Farm urban farming means:

Helping our neighbors access healthy foods

This year we grew & distributed over 7,000 pounds of food for our community

Cultivating a respect for the environment

This year we engaged over 700 young people and 500 adults in hands-on gardening, cooking, & nutrition education, empowering them to lead healthier lives

Training our young people for their future

This year we provided employment, workforce readiness, and leadership development to 12 DC teenagers

Building a safe and inclusive community

This year we brought hundreds of diverse individuals together through food and farming

This is the work that we do and the work that our community needs now more than ever.

We can't do it alone

Join us in creating a vibrant, informed, and well-nourished community through urban farming by making a
