NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR 
Proposed Disposition of Properties

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the requirements of D.C. Official Code § 423171.03(a)(1), the District of Columbia Department of Housing and Community Development (“District” or “DHCD”) has scheduled a public hearing on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 6 p.m. The hearing will occur at the DHCD - 1st Floor Housing Resource Center located at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20020, to consider the proposed disposition of the properties noted below.


                                                 
In May 2019, the District offered the properties listed above for sale, through the competitive process of an auction, conducted by Alex Cooper Auctioneers, Inc., for the purpose of eliminating or reducing blight by providing for the disposition and development of affordable units to households with an annual income at or below 120% Median Family Income.
             
If you would like to present oral testimony, you are encouraged to register in advance either by emailing DHCD’s Property Acquisition and Disposition Division at padd.sfo@dc.gov, or by calling (202) 478-1355. Please provide your name, address, telephone number, and organizational affiliation, if any.

Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) relay service is available by calling (800) 2017165. Sign language interpretation and language translation services are available upon request by calling Pamela Hillsman at (202) 442-7251. If you require language translation, please specify which language (Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese-Mandarin/Cantonese, Amharic, or French). Language translation services will be provided to pre-registered persons only. The deadline for requiring interpretation services is seven days prior to the hearing. Bilingual staff will provide services as available to unregistered attendees.
