some videos of a package thief on W Street NW

A W Street NW neighbor passes along this message and videos of a package thief:

We have noticed a thief walking in front of our house multiple times over the last week to steel packages.

• On August 8th the suspect tried to steal a package but didn't because it was too heavy.
• On July 30th he is casing the neighborhood.   
• On August 3rd he is casing the neighborhood.

It is amazing that this same individual wearing the same unique clothing and unique backpack would be doing this so regularly. He arrives between 6 to 7am every couple days...I have every indication that he will continue to do this. 

I contacted the police this morning and an officer arrived at my house to take notes. I gave all of our video to the officer and will continue to do so...as it seems like this thief will not stop attempted to steal things.

Based on his deliberate schedule...i assume he will next walk by in like two days at 6:30am...he doesn't really care about mixing it up.
