Due to the significant amount of information presented in our post-hearing submission, the Zoning Commission has scheduled an additional hearing on the McMillan redevelopment: Monday, September 29th. In the meantime, they have requested additional information from our team, primarily on the timing of transit improvements, the medical building height and more detail on the administration of CBA benefits.

Our team will submit all of the requested information before the end of the month, after which the ANC, Office of Planning, DDOT and parties in opposition will have two weeks to respond to our submission. We anticipate a final decision at the September 29th hearing.

Please take a minute to check out another endorsement of our plan published this past weekend in the Washington Post by Architectural expert and Post critic Roger K. Lewis:

McMillan plan combines preservation, urban design and inventive architecture

Sincerely,

Anne L. Corbett, Project Director
