Subject: RE: [MPD-5D] Incident in Shaw overnight?
While in the 1200 blk of 3rd St., NE, an MPD officer observed multiple shots being fired from a vehicle at another. As the officer activated his lights to conduct a stop of the vehicle, it fled the scene. In his haste to flee the scene, the driver lost control of the vehicle and came to rest in the 400 blk of Q St., NW. Three suspects bailed out of the vehicle as MPD saturated the area. An area canvass was conducted, which consisted of door to door knocks, and resulted in two of the three suspects being apprehended. The remaining suspect is described as a B/M, 20 yrs of age, 5'5, thin build, nothing further. He was last seen on foot in the 1500 blk of 4th St., NW.

Subject: [MPD-5D] Incident in Shaw overnight?
Last night at 3:30 am our doorbell at 4th and P NW was rung twice (we didn't make it to the door in time because we were asleep and it also seems like a bad idea to open your front door at that hour). Shortly thereafter, we saw a searchlight from a helicopter and then three heavily armed police officers with a K-9 unit entered our back yard, setting off the motion sensor light. We called 911 and were informed it had been the police who rang our doorbell and that someone had been arrested. Could you provide more information about this incident?
