Hold up, I had to get a meeting with the city in order to build on top of my existing footprint because I was already 2% over the 60% I was allowed. IF this is in an R-4 zone it looks like they've exceeded their FAR already.
That is a large lot, and if the calculations were done correctly, it is 60%. Shocking, right? Of course, they had to remove the front porch roof so as not to go over 60%.

It is called a penthouse. There are regulations that apply - I will try to find them and ask Scott to post them.
Until the 67 V street Popup goes up right in their view of the Washington Monument and then...it'll be a GREAT view of the V street popup!
well...they don't own that view. Hope they do their due diligence.
