DC Visual Collective at Big Bear Cafe - Monday Feb 1. 7pm

DC Visual Collective (DCVC) is a space for visual documentarians of any medium to come together and inspire one-another through presentations, discussion, and a critique of work.

This month we are excited to announce presentations from two of our members discussing Women Photojournalists of Washington DC, and project funding through the Pulitzer Center.

Allison Shelley is the co-founder and acting director of WPOW (Women Photojournalists of Washington). She will discuss the organization's 10th anniversary and the ways in which the DC photo/video world has evolved over the past decade.

Evey Wilson is the Associate Producer at the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. She will speak on their process for selecting projects for funding, and some of the projects they have supported in the past.

The event is open to the public.
Come join us!
