McMillan Advisory Group monthly
meeting agenda, Thursday, December 8th, 7pm, at the Inspired Teaching School,
corner of Lincoln Road and Douglas St., NE
DMPED (the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and
Economic Development, which runs the McMillan development project) will bring
representatives from the DC Department of Employment Services to provide an
overview of their programs and address some questions brought up at the
November meeting about including local residents in the hiring process for the
contracts for the McMillan project.
DMPED will introduce the construction/demolition
representative they’ve hired. This is NOT the construction mitigation
information we requested — that will be later — just an introduction to the
firm/person selected based on the RFP.
The MAG meets on the 2nd Thursday of
each month
at 7PM. Our current meeting place is the
Inspired Teaching School,
200 Douglas St. NE (the old Shaed Elementary).
