Isn't the ultimate point of this event to generate enough money for the owner to pay her delinquent taxes? As was mentioned elsewhere, the building is actually on the delinquent tax auction list. How disillusioning for those of us who supported the effort for a public building to be sold to a private entity to generate community benefit. Now, the restaurant is closed, the public can't get in, and the owner doesn't pay their taxes.
