Northeast Boundary Tunnel Project
First Street NW Construction Site

Water Service Restored
May 14, 2020

Greetings Neighbors.

You were notified earlier that DC Water’s contractor accidentally struck a water line at the First Street Construction Site. This temporarily caused a water shutoff to residents on the unit block of Rhode Island Avenue NW and on T Street NW between First and 2nd Streets NW. We would like to inform you that repairs have been made and service has been restored.

Thank you for your patience and we apologize for the inconvenience.
