D.C. Community and Business Stakeholders: This is a friendly reminder about the Rock `n` Roll USA Marathon and ½ Marathon Road Closures on Saturday, March 16. Please feel free to pass along this message to your community members and lists.
The course passes many of our Capital`s major attractions – from the start line near the Washington Monument on Constitution Ave NW to the finish line on East Capitol Street at Armory Mall near RFK Stadium. Road closures associated with the race may affect access to your neighborhood or businesses on race day. Please expect delays and plan ahead if your place of business or its activities are on the course.
Visit our website at www.competitor.com/community (then click on Washington DC) to download a course map and road closure list. More information on detours, access lanes, metering intersections/bump cross routes, alternate routes and an interactive map are also available online. The site hosts a ``community contact form`` where you can submit questions or request alternate directions.
