Arrests Made in Multiple Robbery Offenses

                       

(Washington, DC)  - Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.

Third District:

• On Friday, March 9, 2018, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 26-year-old Cristina Rubio, of no fixed address, was arrested for a Robbery (Fear) offense that occurred on March 4, 2018, in the 600 block of Florida Avenue, Northwest. 

• At approximately 1:40 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location.  The suspect gestured as if she had a gun and demanded the victim’s property.  The victim complied and the suspect fled the location. CCN: 18-035-666

Fifth District:

• On Thursday, March 8, 2018, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 41 year-old Derrick Aull, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, January 22, 2018, in the Unit block of Seaton Place, Northwest.

o   At approximately 9:55 pm, the victim was walking at the listed location when the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property.  The victim complied.  The suspect fled on foot with the victim’s property. CCN: 18-012-306.
